Shadefolk is a story-focused puzzle adventure game in a fantasy universe. A world fractured by centuries of distrust is faced with a mysterious but potent evil, foretold by a prophecy that tasks the separated communities with fixing their broken bonds to defeat the evil together. Iza, the last surviving member of a long-forgotten race, is not part of this prophecy. Her actions will shape the world, either for the better or for the worse, as she lends her power to do what she thinks is right. The player uses ancient magic to combine the powers of other creatures into unique abilities, which can be used to protect the player, fight back, solve puzzles, and traverse the land.
